Barb and Mike created a home for me and hundreds of others, and I have never encountered anything like it since. I grew and learned and laughed and loved every moment of my 9 years therre. I am grateful to be a part of the Pratzel family.
You have all gotten me and my husband Craig, who died a few years back, through some extremely hard times. You did it simply by being who you are and who you had become over the years. You touched many people, and made a difference in their lives.
Barb and Mike truly showed what it is to be a business owner, treating employees with respect and compassion, and making them feel like family. Being engaging and encouraging makes employees feel like they had a voice...the owners looked to staff for advice, listened to constructive criticism, and concern. I use the lessons they taught me quite regularly.
I just told my 9-year-old we are on the cookbook list and she squealed and said "maybe we'll have pumpkin muffins again one day!" Thanks for all the good memories!
